Can it really live up to the hype? Abso-freakin-lutely. This is probably my favorite ride of all time now - EVEN WITH the 16 miles of semi-snoozefest leading up to the main event. My skills are finally perfectly aligned to have an amazing time on this wild ride. Portal is rated a “Pro Line” on Trailforks, but that just seems to be from the two really silly spots where people try and die. One looks impossible, the other looks totally doable.
